Support

Teriscope is built by an outdoor guide, by hand. If something's broken, confusing, or missing, write to a real person — usually the person who built it.

We aim to reply within a couple of days. Tell us your device (e.g. iPhone 14), the app version (Settings → About), and what happened.

Common questions

The map looks blank or won't load tiles.

Teriscope needs a connection the first time it loads a region. If you're heading off-grid, open the area you'll be in while you still have signal so the map can cache, or use the in-app download to save a region for offline use. If tiles still won't load on a good connection, force-quit and reopen the app.

The blue dot (my location) isn't showing.

The map works without location, but the blue dot needs permission. Go to iOS Settings → Teriscope → Location and set it to "While Using the App." If it's already on and the dot still won't appear, make sure Location Services is enabled system-wide and that you're not in Airplane Mode.

How do I get my pins and tracks out of the app?

Your data is yours. You can export:

How do I delete my account or my data?

You can delete individual pins, tracks, and journal entries inside the app. To delete your entire account and everything attached to it, use the in-app Account screen, or email [email protected]. Deletion is permanent and clears your data from our database within 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.

Which areas are covered?

New Mexico is fully live today. The rest of the country is rolling out through 2026 — basemaps and weather work nationwide, while parcel, wildlife-unit, and trail detail land state by state.

I'm a beta tester — where do I send feedback?

Use the same email above, or the feedback option in TestFlight. Screenshots help a lot. If the app crashed, tell us exactly what you tapped right before it happened.
